If a borrower enters an incorrect Auth Code five times, Encompass will lock the borrower out of eSigning the package. When this happens, the borrower will see an error that the they are not able to authenticate.

The package can be unlocked by issuing an Informational Only eDisclosure such as the Home Loan Toolkit or Privacy Policy from the eFolder. It is also best practice to verify the correct code was given to the user so they do not repeat the mistake.
Steps:
- Go to the eFolder
- Click eDisclosures and click through each screen to Order eDisclosures
- Select check the box next to Your Home Loan Toolkit (esnure only this box is selected) and Send disclosures
You will know this process has been successful when another Disclosure Task is created. The borrower can now attempt to authenticate again and sign the original disclosure package.
