Enhanced Borrower Experience goes into Beta
At Maxwell, we’re dedicated to continuously improving our platform to deliver a best-in-class digital mortgage experience for you and your borrowers.
That’s why we’re excited to announce the launch of our revamped borrower dashboard. This update is designed to streamline the document collection process and improve borrower pull-through rates. We did this by focusing on a few key experiences:
- Mobile-first design: 52% of borrowers are logging in via mobile devices. We designed our new borrower dashboard and tasks experience for a smoother task completion experience regardless of device.
- Improved first-time task completion rate: Clearer task descriptions and helpful borrower tips improve borrower understanding of requirements and reduce churn caused by document rejection on tasks.
- Escalating top borrower priorities: We’ve updated task prioritization and notifications to elevate time-sensitive items like disclosures and overdue tasks so it’s clear to the borrower which action items are the highest priority to complete.
This update is going live for a limited amount of Beta customers beginning August 2nd. With expansions to more customers in mid-September and at the beginning of Q4. You can learn more about our new and improved Borrower Dashboard in our Customer Knowledge Base. If you have any questions or concerns about the upgrade process, you can contact help@himaxwell.com or your customer success manager and we will be happy to assist you.
Soft Credit Pulls
We have updated our credit pull tasks to allow lenders to run soft credit pulls in Maxwell's platform. Simply click soft pull on the credit tasks to generate a soft pull report.
Storing Credentials
You can now store multiple vendor credentials within our Integrations Settings. So you can store and readily use multiple different CRA vendors to pull credit. We’ve partnered with MeridianLink, CBC, Informative Research, and Factual Data to give you access to dozens of CRAs. If you only have one provider it will auto-select that credit provider for you.
The Credit Integration must be enabled for your organization before you can pull a credit report in Maxwell. Your organizational admin can reach out to Maxwell to get this set up.
Meridian Link Credit Authorization
Maxwell now updates the credit authorization date directly in MLM when the loan file is created from Maxwell.
Bugs/Code Cleanup
- Task Status Notifications – Fixed a bug where the initial task status notifications were not sent to borrowers on lender-created files loan files.
- Name Capitalization – Addressed an issue where user names were getting a space added prior to capital letters. So if a name had two capital letters e.g. McDonald an unnecessary space was added Mc Donald.
- Added institution branding to FileFetch connected accounts
