Week of March 13th

Features

Equal Housing Lender or Equal Opportunity Lender logos choice

We have updated our compliance footer so that the lender can choose between Equal Housing Lender and Equal Opportunity Lender for their compliance footer to meet their regulatory requirements. Reach out to help@himaxwell.com if you'd like to configure this setting for your organization

Fixed Incorrect Loan Type in Borrower View

Previously, when a custom loan application template was created based off one of the existing templates, the borrower would see the name of the original loan application template on the loan selection screen (shows when a borrower has one or more loan files). This has been updated to display the name of the custom loan application template.

MLM Lead to Loan

Within minutes of a Lead changing to a Loan in MeridianLink Mortgage the Maxwell POS will automatically will update the loan file ID in POS the new Loan Number ID. This means organizations using Meridian Link Mortgage will no longer have to manually update loan numbers in Maxwell point of sale to sync documents or receive status updates.

Bug Fixes & Code Cleanup

  • Added Signing certificates to DocuSign files so processors and underwriters can view the audit trail of when documents were signed directly on the document.
  • Added error message if a borrower has a page load error that directs them to refresh the page or contact Maxwelll help
  • Cleanup on loan application templates so SCIF questions appear in all organizations

Week of March 6th

Features

Married to co-borrower mapping joint credit

We have added a question asking if the borrower is "Married to the co-borrower". This question will be a proxy to determine if the loan file is Joint credit or individual credit for borrowers when we map to the 3.4 and the LOS.

  • If borrowers are married = Joint Credit relationship and all tasks and documents are shared
  • If borrowers are not married & share finances = Individual Credit relationship but all documents and tasks are shared
  • If borrowers are not married & do not share finances = Individual Credit relationship and tasks and documents are not shared

Verbal Credit Authorization for Lenders

We have added the option for a LO/LOA to collect a verbal credit authorization if they are taking an application over the phone for the borrower and the borrower has not yet logged in to provide their full credit/e-consent authorization. This new feature is in Beta with a few test organizations and our plan is to roll this out widely in Q2 after some initial feedback from our testing organizations

Steps to take Verbal Credit Authorization

  1. As a LO/LOA start a loan application for the borrower
  2. Go to the loan application and fill out the application
  3. Go to the final review of the application
  4. On the bottom of the page above submit loan application click Collect Verbal Credit Authorization
  5. A modal will pop up to read to the borrower and gather their Verbal Consent to pull credit for a mortgage loan application
  6. Confirm the borrower and select confirm authorization
  7. The button will turn green to confirm verbal credit authorization is collected
  8. A pdf record of verbal credit consent will be created

Encompass Template Routing Updates

We added the ability to route custom loan application templates to the corresponding loan templates in Encompass.

  • Custom loan applications templates now have unique IDs and titles that can be mapped

Bug Fixes & Code Maintenence

  • We fixed a bug to  correctly lookup participants by user ID when creating consents
  • We updated the Lender submission experience so that when a lender wants to submit an application with required questions missing, it will just provide them a warning notification and not automatically push them to the section where the fields are missing.
