Encompass Milestone Assignment Enhancements
In Encompass, Milestone Assignment behavior can vary from lender to lender. In our data analysis, we found two common patterns:
- Retroactive Assignment: The user assigned to a milestone is responsible for moving the loan INTO that milestone. For example, the screenshot below shows the "Processing" milestone. The Loan Officer (Doug) is responsible for moving the loan into processing, and is the assignee for the milestone. This is the default behavior for Encompass milestones.
- Many lenders have adapted their milestones so that the assignee is responsible for COMPLETION of the milestone. In our example above, the "Processing" milestone would be assigned to a Processor.
This impacts how we report on loan assignees and time-in-milestone per assignee. In this release, we've enhanced our data model to support both methods. This configuration is currently controlled at an organization level by Maxwell. However, we will be exposing this and other settings in the future so that organizations can self-select the option that fits their Encompass workflows.
Bug Fixes
- Resolved an issue blocking multi-level organization from creating Maxwell BI users in child-organizations.
